Tips for jewelry care
Caring for and protecting your jewelry will help preserve its beauty, allowing it to become a cherished heirloom.
Remember: the simplest cleaning methods are often the best!
- To clean your 18k Gold gemstone jewelry, mix a small amount of mild dish soap in warm water. Gently rub with a soft brush, then rinse with running water, and dry with a soft cloth.
- Porous gems like Opal, Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli and Malachite need special care. Clean them gently with a soft, dry (or slightly damp) cloth. Avoid soaking them in water for extended period.
- Softer gems, such as Pearls, Moonstone, Labradorite are prone to scratching, so it's best to clean them gently, using a very soft brush with soapy water.
- To reduce the risk of losing your jewelry, or a loose stone, avoid cleaning and rinsing it directly over the sink.

Proper jewelry storage is essential for preventing scratches and damage. Avoid mixing your pieces with other accessories; instead, store each piece in its individual pouch or original box after wiping it clean with a dry cloth.
